Update on the Little Man

Ethan keeps us entertained for sure! Here is some funny things he's been doing lately:

Matt was sealing some holes in our stairs before E went to bed. The next morning I guess the door was open where the caulk gun was and he took it and started doing exactly what Matt was doing-sealing up the holes of course.

The other day we were at the park with this bike killing some time before Matt got home and dinner. Ethan saw a kid's bike laying on its side and he wanted it. I pointed to his and said that's Ethan's bike. He immediately tipped it to its side just like the other bike. But then he took rocks and was 'fixing' the wheels. Late I found out that Matt had taught him how to fix his bike :)

We have to fill our tires up on the jogging stroller and Ethan found the pump and put it next to the stroller and started to pump it. Then he proceeded to try to put the end on the tire and pump it up.

He has started this "uh" starts out lower and ends high. Its the sweetest thing ever. He'll be outside and come in wanting to know where daddy went and do it. It cracks me up.

His newest word is "cheeeeze" I ask him to say it everytime I get it for him.

He can say- cheese, mama, dada, moo, this, shoes, sock, clock, walk, truck(his favorite)

He can sign I love you and blow you kisses <3

He is a ball of energy. He can go go go and up until bedtime he'll be laughing and trying to hide from me and squeel when I get him. He has the best smile. I love it! He's a sweet boy. Some timesI want to throw the towel in and then he surprises me. I love being his mom and love to take him to the park and let him ride his bike around. I love you Ethan so much!! He is a little boy and not my baby anymore : / I keep thinking of when he was a week old and he was so teeny tiny and I didn't want him to grow and time to stay still. How fun the ride has been and how much we've accomplished!

Oops I forgot to mention this happening. We took a walk one night(we walk a lot. Ethan just loves outside that much we walk everyday pretty much:) and we checked the mail and on the way back he was fussy so we didn't buckle him. I was trying to hurry back home and he had his ball in hopes of entertainment but that wasn't the case. Anyways.. he was trying to get out of the stroller and I turned to say something to Matt and he fell on his face on the sidewalk : / I didn't know the damage but just walked as fast as I could home with a screaming baby. SO sad! After forever we made it home and I looked at the damage. He looked like he was going to have a really really bad black eye and I could see he landed on his nose first then his eye. OUCH!!! Thankfully vitamin E oil is my life saver!! It only took 3 days and all but part of his nose scab is off. He's almost healed!
