I didn't do any from seed..I wanted to be successful at least a little bit :)
Ya so green!
We got these carrots. I know they are so small but we had to pick them :( I picked some more a month later and got one larger one. We also got lettuce and1 cucumber.
Ok so that doesn't sound like alot but let me explain....
We went on vacation to Cali and I thought my plants would be fine. I watered them every 3 days and we were gone 4. But sadly, the pickling cucmbers and cucumber plants died!
Oops!!!
But the good news is my butternut squash is doing well and maybe we'll have something soon!
Our dirt is horrible here and I am learning that the hard way! Next time I will do the one with a wood box and awesome dirt from a guy that will help me yield more!
Another thing that hasn't helped is the birds keep eating my stuff!!!

So I used tin foil to make my garden on 'fire' from the sun and its helped I think.
The sad thing is Matt tells me I can't do another garden until we are moved out of this house onto the next : / But I'll try to think positive and maybe try to learn more before I garden again to be more successful!!!

We water ours every every day and have had success. Morning is best. the more daily you water the less bitter your veggies and fruits will be :)
we have had lots of cucumbers and they are soooo good! we are planting more in the fall too
